MHSAA MS Regional Meet - October 23^rd, 2024

This year marked Renton XC's debut at the MHSAA MS Regional Meet, held on the beloved Milan course. The weather was ideal—slightly overcast and cool.

The boys kicked off the competition, with Zach Biller leading the way, finishing 56th out of 104 runners with a time of 13:37. He was followed closely by Connor Vajen, who set a personal record with a time of 14:04, placing 65th. Hudson Shastal came in at 14:11 for 67th, while Carter Crane also achieved a PR of 14:49, finishing 79th. Dominick Rempe crossed the line at 14:57, securing 84th place. Brady Allen (16:51) took 99th, Ryan Clelland (16:53) was 100th, and Josh Slater rounded out the team with a time of 17:23 in 103rd.

The girls' race followed, with Sonia Glodowski leading the Renton squad. She finished 15th overall, earning a medal for her top 20 performance with a PR of 13:40. Jennalynn Bronstein also set a personal best at 13:55, placing 22nd out of 84 runners. Next was Riley Szawara in 52nd (15:39), followed by Brooklyn Boggs (15:54) in 56th. Zoey Cheney finished 78th (17:43), while Julia Bronstein (18:02 PR) came in 79th. Addison Block also achieved a personal record at 18:07, placing 80th, and Anna Cheney finished 84th with a time of 20:52.
