Airport Haunted Harvest Invite - October 19th, 2024

It was a day of beautiful weather—perhaps a bit too warm—but with plenty of great racing at the Airport Haunted Harvest Invite. The Renton boys' XC team faced tough competition, with Zach Biller leading the way, finishing 29th out of 85 runners with a time of 13:38, just shy of a top 20 medal. He was followed by Connor Vajen (14:11) in 44th, Hudson Shastal (14:27) in 51st, Jackson Dodson (14:36) in 53rd, Dominick Rempe (14:44 PR) in 57th, Brady Allen (15:20) in 66th, Carter Crane (15:33) in 70th, Ryan Clelland (16:45) in 97th, August Block (16:58) in 103rd, Griffin Bozich (17:07) in 106th, and Joshua Slater (17:12 PR) in 107th.

The Renton girls' XC team had its fair share of excitement, with a few tumbles and even a lost shoe, but the girls pushed through strong! Jennalynn Bronstein (14:50) finished 21st, followed closely by Sonia Glodowski (14:50) in 22nd, and Sabrina Mac (14:55 PR) in 23rd, all just missing a top 20 medal. Next across the line were Brooklyn Boggs (16:13) in 34th, Zoey Cheney (17:43) in 52nd, Aithy Le (17:46) in 54th, Addison Block (18:33 PR) in 61st, Julia Bronstein (19:10) in 66th, and Anna Cheney (21:33) in 77th.
