Dave Bork Invite – October 14, 2023

The weather for this year's Dave Bork Invite was spectacular, providing the perfect conditions for personal records (PRs), and the Renton cross-country teams took full advantage.

The Renton boys kicked off the day with 7 runners achieving new PRs. Zach Biller (13:25 PR) led the team, earning a medal for placing 50th out of 156 runners. Other standout performances included Hudson Shastal (13:43 PR) finishing 59th, Connor Vajen (14:11 PR) in 67th, Jackson Dodson (14:26 PR) in 74th, Brady Allen (14:47 PR) in 80th, Dominick Rempe (15:06 PR) in 92nd, followed by Griffin Bozich (16:44) in 123rd, Ryan Clelland (16:50) in 125th, and August Block (17:21) in 131st.

The Renton girls followed with an impressive showing, with 8 runners setting PRs and 3 earning medals for finishing in the top 50. Leading the charge was Sonia Glodowski (14:00 PR) in 15th, Jennalynn Bronstein (14:01 PR) in 17th, and Sabrina Mac (15:01 PR) in 46th out of 119 racers. Close behind were Riley Szawara (15:25 PR) in 54th, Brooklyn Boggs (15:57 PR) in 61st, Zoey Cheney (17:17) in 82nd, Isabel Kridner (17:34 PR) in 86th, Addison Block (18:58 PR) in 102nd, Julia Bronstein (19:00 PR) in 104th, and Anna Cheney (20:33) in 112th.
