Marauder Invite - September 28, 2024

The Renton boys' cross-country team faced a very soggy course during their mid-day race, but that didn’t slow them down. Many runners achieved personal records (PRs) despite the tough conditions. The competition was fierce, with Zach Biller (13:51 PR) finishing 67th out of 210 runners, followed by Hudson Shastal (13:53 PR) in 70th, Connor Vajen (14:12 PR) in 80th, Brady Allen (15:40 PR) in 119th, Dominick Rempe (15:43) in 122nd, Carter Crane (15:59 PR) in 132nd, Griffin Bozich (16:19 PR) in 140th, Ryan Clelland (16:51 PR) in 155th, and Joshua Slater (17:37 PR). Great effort on a tough course!

By the time the Renton girls' team took the course, it had turned into a muddy, sloppy challenge. Despite the conditions, the girls ran a determined race, with some even losing shoes in the mud. Jennalynn Bronstein (14:52) led the Renton girls, finishing 33rd out of 169 runners, followed by Sonia Glodowski (15:03) in 37th, Brooklyn Boggs (16:26) in 66th, Zoey Cheney (17:00) in 86th, Aithy Le (17:47) in 114th, Isabel Kridner (18:52) in 130th, Addison Block (19:40 PR) in 139th, Julia Bronstein (19:43 PR) in 141st, and Anna Cheney (19:50 PR) in 143rd. Great job, ladies!
