It was a perfect evening for a race, with a gentle breeze, mild temperatures, and a slightly overcast sky. The Renton Boys Cross Country team hit the course first, with several runners setting personal records. Zach Biller led the Chiefs, finishing 35th out of 114 racers with a time of 14:08. Hudson Shastal followed in 44th (14:48 PR), Connor Vajen in 47th (15:07 PR), Jackson Dodson in 55th (15:34), Dominick Rempe in 56th (15:31 PR), Brady Allen in 72nd (16:37), Carter Crane in 73rd (16:38), Griffin Bozich in 82nd (17:34), Ryan Clelland in 91st (18:09), and Joshua Slater in 96th (18:26 PR). Great job, fellas!

The Renton girls’ team took to the course next and also saw several personal bests. Jennalynn Bronstein medaled for her top-20 finish, placing 14th out of 77 runners with a time of 14:40. Other finishers included Riley Szawara in 30th (15:49 PR), Zoey Cheney in 35th (16:32), Brooklyn Boggs in 48th (17:32), Isabel Kridner in 61st (19:19), Addison Block in 66th (20:28 PR), Julia Bronstein in 67th (20:30 PR), and Anna Cheney in 70th (20:58).
