Huron League Jamboree #1, September 28, 2021

The postponed Jamboree gave us much better weather to run in and the Renton Girls Cross Country took advantage of it.  As a team, the girls took 2^nd out of 5.  They had three get recognized for their top 14 finish out of 55 runners Avery Turk 3^rd (13:34.5), Falyn Doss 4^th (14:08.2), Maggie Mentzer 13^th (15:55.8). Renton’s other finishers Kirsten Perecki 15^th (16:08.2), Julia Welch 30^th (18:44.9), Stella Mac 31^st (18:52.4PR), Amelia Szawara 33^rd (19:01.6), Ryan Cheney 35^th (19:24.8PR), Kayla Tarjeft 41^st (21:11.2), Brooklyn Ladach 42^nd (21:25.2), Ivy Akenbauer 48^th2 (24:55.8).

Renton Boys Cross Country team was also able to capitalize on the great weather also.  They place as a team 1^st out of 4 teams. 12 boys beat and set new personal records (PR).  The boys also had eight that were recognized for their top 14 finish, Luke Dulecki 2^nd (11:52.6), Louie Macon 5^th (12:41.3PR), Jordan Stasak 8^th (13:05.4), Ryan Biller 9^th (13:06.7PR), Ian Akenbauer 10^th (13:18.5PR), Mason Thomas 11^th (13:31.2), Kyle Siggett 12^th (13:32.5), Cameron Crane 14^th (13:47.2PR). Renton boys other finishers are Cole Druyor 28^th (14:55.1PR), Will Ryan 31^st (15:10.5PR), Max Banas 33^rd (15:15.3), Austin Krause 38^th (15:42.9), Aidan Hebert-Foe 40^th (16:02.5), Liam Holdwick 47^th (17:18.3), Joel Lazenby 57^th (18:33.2PR), John Lapointe 59^th (18:50.0), Ethan Brophy 64^th (19:55.3PR), Adam Barnabei 68^th (20:48.3), Henry Broughton 70^th (21:23.6), Elijah Covieo 71^st (22:44.0), Oliver Scherz 72^nd (22:47.6), nice job Dylan McDonald (12:50) on a good start.
