The Renton girls had a fabulous first race of the season at the 52^nd Huron Invitational. The girls placed as a team 10^th out of 19 teams. They had a couple get their personal records (PR). Avery Turk (13:31.2PR) 13^th and Falyn Doss (13:57.1PR) 21^st out of 190 runners. Other Finishers are Kirsten Perecki 75^th (16:07.8), Amelia Szawara 129^th (18:21.4), Julia Welch 143^rd (18:57.30), Kayla Tarjeft 152^nd (19:33.0), Ryan Cheney 161^st (20:27.0), Brooklyn Ladach 162^nd (20:30.1), and Ivy Akenbauer 169^th (21:35.0).

Not to be outdone the Renton boys “Varsity” came out working hard. The boy's team placed 5^th out of 21 teams. They had four boys PR, led by Luke Dulecki (11:39.6PR) who placed 7^th out of 205 runners followed by Jordan Stasak 36^th (13:03.8), Ian Akenbauer 47^th (13:23.0PR), Louie Macon 52^nd (13:31.5), Kyle Siggett 65^th (13:48.2PR), Cole Druyor 119^th (15:26.4PR), Max Banas 124^th (15:36.0), Austin Krause 135^th (15:50.1), Will Ryan 161^st (16:45.2).

In the first-ever “JV” middle school race the boys ran hard and it showed. Out of 104 racers, Aidan Herbert-Foe (15:48.7) placed 29^th, John Lapointe 59^th (18:16.0), Liam Holdwick 60^th (18:16.0), Broderick Yensch 64^th (18:30.9), AJ Barnabei 67^th (18:41.1), Henry Broughton 74^th (19:36.4), Ethan Brophy 78^th (20:22.1), Joel Lazenby 89^th (21:44.3), Elijah Covieo 90^th (22:02.7), and Oliver Scherz 94^th (22:25.3)
