October 17, 2018-Huron League Jamboree #3

                The Renton boy’s cross-country team took first as a team at all the Huron League Jamboree’s, making them unofficially the Huron League Champions!! In the third and season’s final jamboree the boy’s place first out of eight teams. They had four earn recognition for a top fourteen finish, Brady Fleszar 2^nd (11:51), Ryan Morris 5^th (12:16), Caiden Siggett 8^th (12:39) and Drew Slane 13^th (13:35).  Other finishers are Nathan Zakar 21^st (14:10PR), Noah Myshock 26^th (14:28PR), Gavin O’Hara 28^th (14:35), Liam Hilliker 29^th (14:45), Garrett Cheney 30^th (14:48), Ryan Anderson 33^rd (14:51PR), Samuel Stanley 40^th (15:12), Rocco Sells 41^st (15:14), Evan Banas 52^nd (15:49), Jack Miller 55^th (15:53), Zachary Taylor 59^th (16:02PR), Jacob Welch 61^st (16:03PR), Kyle Biller 63^rd (16:04PR), Hunter Szawara 67^th (16:16), Xander Scannell 72^nd (16:33), Lucas Worrell 77^th (17:17), Gavin Scannell 17:38PR).

                The Renton girls team also placed first as a team in all the Huron League Jamboree’s, making them unofficial Huron League Champions!! That makes three years in a row the girls were unofficial Huron League champions. At jamboree #3 this year the girl place first out seven teams with a very impressive score of 19. They also had seven girls receive recognition for their top fourteen finish, Abigail Murphy 1^st (13:07), Breeann Roupe 2^nd (13:28), Gia Dean 3^rd (13:30), Tiffany Burns 6^th (13:58), Elizabeth Anderson 8^th (14:03), Maggie Warden 9^th 14:12) and Leah Emch 11^th (14:15). Other finishers are Madeleine Furkas 19^th (15:17), Madison Connor 26^th (15:52), Cara Bean 34^th (16:17), Natalie Carlile 39^th (16:37PR), Mira Lazenby 57^th (18:29) and Jenna Shrum 58^th (18:29PR)
