MONROE HIGH SCHOOL: 5
Chiefs came out hitting strong to beat Monroe Middle School 7-5. Mackenzie Floyd, Erin Newman and Brianna Scott all tripled to start the first inning. Emma Sic also went 1-1 at the plate and had 5 stolen bases. She also stole home to tie up the game in the third inning. Mackenzie Floyd and Erin Newman both went 3-3. The entire team played very solid defense to earn the win.
