Dober's Walk-Off Picture Perfect Ending In Renton 8th Grade Softball's Victory Over Seitz Middle School

A walk-off fielder's choice propelled Renton Chiefs Softball 8th Grade to a decisive, dramatic victory over Seitz Middle School, 5-4. The game was tied at four with the Chiefs batting in the bottom of the sixth when Olivia induced Eliza Dober to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

In the first inning, Seitz Middle School got their offense started when an error scored one run for Seitz Middle School. After Seitz Middle School scored one run in the top of the second, the Chiefs answered with one of their own when Taylor Mitter drew a walk, scoring one run. The Chiefs scored three runs in the fourth inning. The big bats were led by Addison Ramsby, Rylie Greggo, and Dober, all driving in runs in the inning.

Greggo was the winning pitcher for Renton Junior High Chiefs Softball 8th Grade. The pitcher went four innings, allowing two runs on one hit, striking out seven and walking one.

Brielle Musallam started the game for Renton Junior High Chiefs Softball 8th Grade. The righthander surrendered two runs on two hits over two innings, striking out one.

Brooke Zaborowski, Greggo, Ramsby, and Musallam all had one hit to help lead the team to victory.
