Batters Stumble Against Perfect Pitching By Greggo, as Renton Junior High Chiefs 8th Grade Softball Defeats Grosse Ile
Rylie Greggo hurled a perfect game on Friday to lead Renton Junior High Chiefs past Grosse Ile 15-0.
The Chiefs opened up scoring in the first inning, when Addison Ramsby singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Greggo was on the rubber for the Chiefs. She allowed zero hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out 11 and walking zero.
Renton tallied 12 hits on the day. Jaylen Kemble, Ramsby, and Greggo each racked up multiple hits. Brielle Musallam led the team with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with seven stolen bases. They didn't commit a single error in the field. Paige Bruning had 11 chances in the field, the most on the team.
