24 Total Hits Bring Victory For Renton 8th Grade Softball Over Jefferson
Renton 8th Grade Softball rolled past Jefferson 32-1 on Tuesday. They secured the victory thanks to 21 runs in the first inning. Rylie Greggo, Jaylen Kemble, Paige Bruning, Taylor Mitter, Kayla Downs, and Olivia Wojo each had RBIs in the big inning.
Mitter led theChiefs to victory in the pitcher's circle. She surrendered one run on one hit over one inning, striking out one. Musallam threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
The Chiefs had 24 hits in the game. Musallam, Eliza Dober, Kemble, Greggo,Wojo, Bruning, Selah Stanley, and Mitter all had multiple hits for the Chiefs. They stole 15 bases during the game as six players stole more than one.
