Chiefs take a tough loss in game 2 vs Grosse Ile

GROSSE ILE HIGH SCHOOL: 3

Despite great pitching from both Hannah Gyolai and Sierra Diegel the Chiefs could not find away to get on top. A double from Sierra Diegel and a single from Kylie Drys helped keep the Chiefs close early. The Chiefs fielding helped keep Grosse Ile from pulling away with great plays throughout, including Madison Miles creating a double play and Sierra Diegel not letting anything by her on the mound. Hannah Gyolai being behind the plate kept Grosse Ile's base running at a minimum after throwing out two runners trying to steal throughout the evening. The Chiefs now prepare for Summit Academy on 5/21.
