Macy Freeman threw a shutout to lead the 8th Grade Renton Chiefs past Grosse Ile 20-0 on Tuesday.
Macy led them to a vitory by driving in five runs. She went 3 for 3 at the plate. She drove in runs on a walk in the first, two singles in the second and double in the third.
The Chiefs notched 13 runs in the second inning. Big bats were led by Audrey Johnson, Leah Schwartz, Aleighna Johnson, Macy Freeman McKenna Darin and Harlie Blosser, who all drove in runs.
The Chiefs colleted 12 hits. Freeman, Galloway and Johnson each managed multiple hits for the Chiefs.
