Both teams came prepared for last nights games held at Riverview.  The Chiefs started off strong winning the first two sets in the first game 25-19 and 25-18. Huron's offense was strong and our serving game was carried by Hannah Purcell, Brianna Scott and Veronica Richardson.  In the second set, we were behind 13-18 when Richardson served 12 in a row to get the win.  Although our serving was great, the Chiefs offense was tough to beat with a strong hitting performance by Lily Kirk-Perry, Hannah Purcell, and Claire Setser.

The second game was a slower start for the Chiefs after losing the first set 25-12.  The next two sets were a completely different ball game.  Great serving from Marissa Jackson, Brianna Scott and Lilly Kirk-Perry kept us in the lead.  The Chiefs offense was also very strong with several big hits from Veronica Richardson, Hannah Purcell, Lily Kirk-Perry, and Claire Setser.  Mackenzie Floyd had an impressive night also, both offensively and defensively. Huron won the final two sets 25-18 and 25-19.

The Chiefs play next Monday and Wednesday at Milan and Flat Rock.
