Girls Freshman Volleyball loses to SMCC

ST. MARY CATHOLIC CENTRAL: 2
Huron Chiefs took their first loss of the season to SMCC during Wednesday nights game. The team played well together and kept fighting their way back throughout each set. In the end, SMCC pulled away with the lead. Final scores were: 14-25 and 17-25. Despite the loss, Veronica Richardson, Brianna Scott and Mackenzie Floyd led the team in serving. The Chiefs are off next week, until they face Riverview in a doubleheader on October 7th.
