GROSSE ILE HIGH SCHOOL: 3.00
Huron lost to a tough Grosse Ile team last Wednesday. The chiefs had a slow start the first set being down 7-0, despite the effort to come back and tie up the game at one point, we still fell short taking the loss 25-20. We had a rough night and just struggled to stay consistent. It was definitely one of the games you learn a lot from. The girls are playing well together, but we have some adjustments we need to work through and figure out. That will come, and I'm looking forward to how they play in the next few weeks after having more time to focus in on these areas.
Ava Radecki and Brianna Holbrook were both strong defensively. Emily Moreno led the chiefs with 3 aces, 3 kills and 5 assists. Maddie Beaubien played well adding in 3 kills and 1 block.
