Huron Chiefs Jv Softball Drops Game To SMCC After Late Score
Huron Chiefs Jv Softball stayed in it until the end, but SMCC pulled away late in a 9-7 victory on Wednesday. The game was tied at five with SMCC batting in the bottom of the fifth when A.zangara singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Despite the loss, Huron Chiefs Jv Softball did collect ten hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, SMCC had 11 hits on the way to victory.
A. Dalton led things off in the pitcher's circle for SMCC. The bulldog lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing ten hits and seven runs while striking out nine.
Audrey Johnson led things off on the rubber for Huron Chiefs Jv Softball . The righty surrendered nine runs on 11 hits over five innings, striking out ten.
