5-Hit Day For Milam As Huron JV Softball Skirts Past SMCC

Five hits from Emily Milam helped lead the way for Huron JV Softball over SMCC 20-4 on Thursday. Milam singled in the first, singled in the second, doubled in the third, doubled in the fifth, and singled in the fifth.

Huron JV Softball opened up scoring in the first inning. Katie singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Huron JV Softball notched nine runs in the fifth inning. Milam, Lena, Ellyse, Gabi, Aria, andKatie all drove in runs in the frame.

Michaela was in the circle for Huron JV Softball . She went five innings, allowing four runs on nine hits, striking out six and walking zero.

#14 toed the rubber for SMCC. She lasted five innings, allowing 25 hits and 20 runs while striking out three.

Huron JV Softball tallied 25 hits in the game. Milam, Michaela, Gracie, Autumn, Logan, Brooklyn, and Katie each collected multiple hits for Huron JV Softball . Milam went 5-for-5 at the plate to lead Huron JV Softball in hits. Huron JV Softball didn't commit a single error in the field. Katie had the most chances in the field with seven.

SMCC tallied nine hits on the day. #3 and #15 all managed multiple hits for SMCC.
