Huron JV Softball seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple SMCC. The game was tied at four with Huron JV Softball batting in the bottom of the sixth when Autumn singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.
SMCC scored four runs in the sixth inning, but Huron JV Softball still managed to pull out the victory. #8 and #20 each had RBIs in the big inning.
Audrey led things off in the circle for Huron JV Softball . She surrendered four runs on four hits over five and a third innings, striking out seven and walking one.
#8 toed the rubber for SMCC. She lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing 11 hits and six runs while striking out three.
Huron JV Softball launched one home run on the day. Autumn had a dinger in the third inning.
Huron JV Softball scattered 11 hits in the game. Logan, Gracie, Autumn, and Gabi all had multiple hits for Huron JV Softball . Gabi, Autumn, Gracie, and Logan each collected two hits to lead Huron JV Softball .
