4-Hit Day For Brooklyn Leads Huron Softball JV Past Taylor

Brooklyn had a busy day at the plate on Thursday, smacking four hits in Huron Softball JV's 17-4 victory over Taylor. Brooklyn singled in the second, singled in the third, singled in the fourth, and singled in the fifth. Huron Softball JV opened up scoring in the first inning. Autumn drove in one when she doubled. Taylor evened things up at one in the bottom of the first inning when #12 grounded out, scoring one run. Huron Softball JV pulled away for good with one run in the second inning. In the second Gracie singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Huron Softball JV scored six runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Aria and Brooklyn and a triple by Emily Milam. Gabi was in the circle for Huron Softball JV. She allowed two hits and two runs over two and a third innings, striking out one. Huron Softball JV racked up 23 hits. Brooklyn, Gracie, Autumn, Macy, Aria, Katie, Harlie, and Leah all collected multiple hits for Huron Softball JV. Brooklyn went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Huron Softball JV in hits.
