The new face of Huron Girls Soccer converged tonight for the very first time.  Nearly all the freshmen and sophomores played together tonight in a battle against Livonia Stevenson.  These up and coming superstars included:

Faith Trombly, Riley Humeniak, Sophia Plooy, Hannah Purcell, Molly Johnston, Sarah Stewart, Addison Dolencic, Calli Eaton, Keely Bennett, Sloane Moutos, Ava Plackowski, Addison Bozynski, Gabby Emelian, Danica Lividini, Riley Cassette, Shaylyn Carpenter, Kendyl Sikoirski* and Lilly Cholette*. (* did not play)

The actual game was a bit back and forth with a zero zero halftime.  Stevenson scored five minutes into the half and kept that lead until 2 minutes left when they added another.  Huron was a bit sluggish in their play just coming off of a game last night but still mounted many attacks that forced the Livonia keeper to be her best version of herself.  The big take away was that 16 of the 18 players played together tonight.  So what does the future of Huron girls soccer  look like?  The author of this report is excitingly optimistic knowing that these girls are eager to learn and put the work in. Only time will tell who is ready to rise to the next level!
