Scoring goals right now is the new cool thing for the Chiefs JV soccer girls who have put up 17 goals in the last 2 games! Addison Dolencic started the scoring tonight from a one time banger off of a Kendyl Sikorski corner kick.  Sikorski got right back to scoring 4 days after her last goal, this time from an Addison Dolencic pass.  Dolencic dribbled everyone in her path for over 60 yards before she lit up the back of the net for the team's 3rd goal and her 2nd. Molly Johnston anchored the defense and controlled the speed of the Riverview attacker that was causing some trouble while Sarah Stewart and Hannah Purcell balanced the defensive line.  Riley Humeniak stopped an unstoppable break away  early on and then almost scored late in the game when she became an attacker. Keely Bennett scored the team's 4th goal from Shaylyn Carpenter and sent the game into halftime up 4-1 after Riverview scored a PK.  Playing with zero subs may have slowed some squads but this amazing Chief squad became more and more powerful as the game moved on.  Was it their fitness level or their desire to not loose on their own turf that transformed them into an 11 woman machine?  Not sure, and im not sure we'll ever know, but what we do know is 5 second half goals ended the game.  Sikorski to Carpenter for goal 5,  Dolencic assisted Sloane Moutos for goal 6, Shaylyn Carpenter scored goal 7 unassisted followed by goal 8 unassisted, completing her hat trick.  Danica Lividini finished up the 8 point spread with her 1st high school goal,  assisted by Ava Plackowski.  Plackowski ran tirelessly  up and down the 120 yard field for the entire 70 minutes and was instrumental in controlling this Chief machine!!
