On a night were everything was calm and peaceful, a strangeness was in the air. Crestwood was visiting and the Chiefs were prepared for a late spring game. Maggie Warden got the game off to a 1-0 lead and then it happened, what you ask? “It” the storm of the century! Lightning struck, winds blew, children were holding on to their mothers, and their mothers were holding on to their mothers it was complete chaos. The skies turned dark, paper whisked across the stadium being thrown about as if it was, well paper, but that’s not the point, it was serious out there. Both teams ran for shelter and dove into covered protective areas. Words cannot describe the events of that evening, but thankfully Jets pizza arrived in time to calm everything down and return order to this chaotic event.
