Tonight the JV girls controlled the game as if they were driving a car, better yet as if they just got their driver’s license.  Huron was defending, attacking, passing and crossing, they were doing more than just driving through the suburbs.  Megan Scott, Madelyn Barbour, Hannah Purcell, Lilly Chollette, and Hannah Sample were not doubting a thing and they were definitely not insecure as they outworked the Marauders of Carlson to every ball.  Coach Matt said,” I know we were not perfect but I’ve never felt this way for no team, the way they worked so hard for one another. I just can’t imagine how they could be so okay not working that hard for one another. Huron midfielders who helped steer this squad today were Marianna Gonzalez, Gia Dean, Melissa Mentzer, Grace Traster and Mira Lazenby. Red lights..... stop signs.....were not going to stop the Chief’s Forwards Maggie Warden, Breeann Roupe, Danica Lividini, Amelia Campbell and Madeline Singer.  Breeann Roupe and Melissa Mentzer both scored penalties followed by Amelia Campbell and Madelyn Barbour both scoring from Grace Traster assists. Final score was 4-0 and the squad is back in action on 5/6 against Edsel Ford High School at Arrowhead.....................
