Huron Chiefs JV is making an argument to say they are as good as most varsity teams.  With an undefeated record and dominating results, one might agree.  The Chiefs took on a last minute challenger yesterday and traveled to 8 mile and Middlebelt to not only represent the Huron League but to also show the state of Michigan that teams from the cornfields can play.   Madison Deluca wasted no time scoring the game winner.  Courtney Balazs added 2, Megan Scott added 2, Alivia Davis, Lily Hickman, and Chloe Evans each added 1 completing the game with an 8-0 mercy.  Molly Hall was everywhere as she ran the outside midfield.  Fresh off of their varsity showing was Marianna Gonzalez, Grace Traster, and Alexa Yoder who all added strength and structure to the Chiefs possession game.  Ashley Kamensky, Jessica Clark-Rose, Avery Schaefer, McKenna Darin and Shayla Mcmanaman all put on, what some called a “clinic”, with their outstanding ball skill and exceptional vision for the game.  Team captains Noelle Myshock and Mikayla Knott kept the girls level headed and performed the ACL prevention seamlessly, despite may or may not knowing where giraffes come from.
