DID YOU HEAR?  That’s right, not only does New Boston Huron have a State Champion Bowling Team but also an undefeated JV girls soccer team!  Even with odds mounted against the lady Chiefs, with wind gusts reaching 60 mph, Freshmen Lily Hickman rocked the West goal with a blast that had every grandparent in the stands chanting Chiefs, Chiefs, Chiefs.  One married couple was chanting cheese, cheese, cheese, but that was probably just a misunderstanding and also not super important to this game summary.  Continuing on, Riverview tied the game just before half despite goalkeeper Shayla  McManaman saving, blocking, and redirecting every shot that came her way.  Huron took control the second half and cheered on Ashley Kamensky as she scored the game winner.  Leading goal scorer Alexa Yoder, added another just to humor her fans and prove to her coach that she does pay attention at practice.  The final score was 3-1 and outstanding play in the midfield by Madison Deluca, Mikayla Knott, Molly Hall, Alivia Davis, Donna Roberts and Chloe Evans secured the win.
