“ I got a feeling, tonight’s gonna be a good night, tonight’s gonna be a good good night”! “Tonight’s the night”! That is what the 2019 JV girls soccer team was thinking as they were on the way to the den, the Garden City Cougar den.  Eighteen minutes in, freshmen standout Alexa Yoder carved her way through the Cougars to score her 1st ever goal as a Huron Chief.  The Cougars roared back and scored 2 quick goals sending them into the half up one.  There was one thing the Cougars had not prepared for though, that was an in your face relentless attack from the Chiefs. Freshmen Grace Traster scored her first ever Chief goal followed by a second by Yoder.  Sophomore Madison Deluca scored beautifully to increase the score 4-2 followed by Yoder rounding out her first ever game with a 3rd, to complete her hat trick.  The entire tribe of Chiefs including, defense Ashley Kamensky, midfield Donna Roberts, midfield Mikayla Knott, goalkeeper Shayla McManaman, defense Noelle Myshock, midfield Alivia Davis, defense Avery Schaeffer, forward Courtney Balasz, defense Mamoona Chaudhry, midfield Molly Hall, defense Marianna Gonzalez, defense Megan Scott, midfield Lily Hickman, midfield McKenna Darin, and defense Jessica Clark-Rose all tamed the Cougars with their aggressive style of play.  Look for the Chiefs to be back in action after spring break and prepare to get Arrowhead Stadium rocking!  #theprideisonthemove!!
