ROOSEVELT HIGH SCHOOL: 34
The Chiefs opened the season with a tough one point loss to the Wyandotte Bears Tuesday evening. Freshman guard Gabby Emelian led the Chiefs, putting thirteen points on the board. Freshman forward Addison Bozynski had eight points, and sophomore forward Maggie Warden had five points. Sophomore center Emma Otter was able to get a couple shots to fall late in the game to help the Chiefs stay in it. Both Maddie Singer, and Callie Eaton were able to get a couple free throws to fall throughout. All in all the Chiefs put on a very valiant effort and we are proud of each and every one of them! This is a very talented young team, and we are looking forward to an exciting season!
