RIVERVIEW COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL: 31

The Huron JV Girls Basketball team were defeated by the Riverview Pirates on Friday night by a score of 31-14. However, the game was much closer than the final score indicated. The Chiefs played amazing defense in the first half and went into halftime with a 6-5 lead. Claire Grant led the Chiefs in the first half scoring all 6 of their points. In the second half, the luck did not go the Chiefs way when they had multiple shots go in and out. Grant led all Chief scorers with 6 points. Courtney Balazs, Madison Feerer, and Hannah Petroski each added a basket of their own.
