Despite illness and injury, the Varsity Girls Competitive Cheer Team pushed through a tough week of changes and adjustments to bring home a First Place trophy for the second year in a row from the Monroe HS Invitational.
The girls were forced to go down in numbers and rearrange all three routines drastically this week. They went from competing with 10 on the floor to 6 (round 1) 7 (round 2) and 6 (round 3).
They worked incredibly hard and it paid off with a win.
Come cheer the girls on Wednesday at Jefferson (6:30) for their last League competition of the season. Or catch them Saturday at Saline HS as they compete for another 1st place win (10am).
