League Meet @ Grosse Ile HS 5/21/24

The Huron Track teams competed in the scorching heat at Grosse Ile High School on Tuesday, May 21st in the Huron League Meet. For the Huron women's team, Natalie Carlile secured the top league spot and a 1st Team All-League medal in the pole vault and Avery Turk earned 2nd Team All-League honors in the 300M hurdles. Ending the season on a high note with a person record and scoring points for the Chiefs was Olivia Pryor in the 100M dash (13.30), the 4x100M relay with Olivia Pryor, Jordan Hickey, Natalie Carlile, and Lily Bermudez, and the ladies in throws: Angel Sly in the discus (80’4”) and MacKenzie Whitehill in the shot put (30’7”). Whitehill also made her track debut, running for the first time with the 4x400M relay team.

4x100M Relay: 5^th Olivia Pryor, Jordan Hickey, Natalie Carlile, Lily Bermudez (54.24 PR)

800M Run: 5^th Falyn Doss (2:38.46)

4x400M Relay: 8^th MacKenzie Whitehill, Savanna Rupnow, Falyn Doss, Avery Turk (4:51.49)

High Jump: 5^th Brielle Musallam (4’6”)

Long Jump: 8^th Brielle Musallam (14’5”)

Discus: 8^th Angel Sly (80’4” PR)

Shot Put: 5^th MacKenzie Whitehill (30’7” PR)

The Chiefs Freshman will compete at the 9^th Grade Invitational at Wyandotte High School on Thursday, May 23^rd.
