The Chiefs of Huron took 6th place out of 15 at the Metro Classic on Saturday. 

All of the girls ran and competed hard with PRs being run by Chloe Evans (200), Jordan Hickey (100), Addison Townsend (300m Hurdles), Breeann Roupe (800m Run) and the 3200m Relay (B.Roupe/C. Bean/K. Simpson/T.Burns). 

Madelyn Barbour, earned 1st Place in both the 100m high hurdles and the 300m hurdles (and personal best times) while also breaking the long-standing 300m hurdle record (48.65) set in 1992 by Ann Holland. Maddie ran the hurdles with a fast time of 47.75. She's already looking forward to breaking her own record at the MHSAA regional meet this Friday. 

Elizabeth Anderson took home 3 first place medals, winning the 100/200/400 and earning herself the title of female Athlete of the Meet at the Metro Classic.
