Huron Girls Varsity Track Face Jefferson in tough match up. Anderson breaks school record.

The Chiefs faced off with the bears for a great meet on 5/4. The Chiefs put up a good fight taking an early lead in the meet, but the girls strong distance team from Jefferson were too fast for the Chiefs to keep up with.

Huron swept long jump and high jump. Sam Keller took first in LJ with a distance of 14'9 and Abby Murphy took first in HJ with a height of 5'2.

Keller also took first in the 100m hurdles with a time of 16.18 and the 300 hurdles setting a personal record of 49.06.

Elizabeth Anderson had a standout evening taking first place in the 100/200/400 and set the new school record in the 200M with a time of 26.64(converted FAT) previously held by assistant coach Ellie Fichtner.
