The Huron Girls track team competed at the Marauder Invitational at Carlson on Friday.  Despite the chilly, damp weather, injuries, and illness, the girls were able to bring home 17 medals and finish 6th place! 

Top point earner of the evening was junior Ellie Fichtner. She brought home a 2nd place finish in the long jump (16' 3), 2nd place in the 200m dash (27.9), 4th place in the 100m dash (13.7), and ran the last leg in the 2nd place 4x200m relay. 

Other point earners of the day included: 

Abbey Biundo earning 5th place in the 400m dash (68.3) and also running a leg in the 4x200m relay

Hannah Petroski earned 6th place in the 800m run with a PR of 2:47.89

Samantha Keller earned 5th place in the 110m hurdles with a time of 18.9

Caitlin Roupe and Abigail Russell were the other two legs of the 2nd place 4x200m relay (1:56.67)

Kailah Mahon earned 6th place in Shot Put (27'02.75)

Keyaira Johnson earned 7th place in Discus with a personal best throw of 71' 03

Elizabeth Wadsworth high jumped 4'05 and earned a 6th place finish
