The Huron girls track team competed in the Jefferson Track and Field Invitational on Saturday.  Finishing 5th place out of the 8 teams the Chiefs performed well despite the cold day. 

Point earners and standout performances:

Ellie Fichtner: First place in long jump with a distance of 15ft 11in. Ellie made it to the finals in both the 100m and 200m dash. 

Caitlin Roupe: 5th place overall in the 200m dash with a time of 29.38

Abbey Biuno: 6th place overall in the 400m dash with a time of 1:09.39

Tess Murphy: 7th place overall in the 400m dash with a time of 1:09.79, 5th place overall in high jump with a height of 4'8"

Samantha Keller: 3rd place overall in the 110m hurdles with a time of 18.63, 6th place overall in the 300m hurdles with a time of 55.79, 4th place overall in high jump with a height of 4'8"

Kailah Mahon: 7th place overall in shot put with a distance of 27-05.75
