"The girls knew I was pretty nervous about this game. Prom coming up Friday, focus can sometimes be deterred. They assured me they would handle buisness and they did just that. It wasn't our flashiest game on defense but we still made key plays in big moments. Greggo did a good job pushing through but the story of the game was the offensive performance. Airport didn't make many errors we just hit the crap out of the ball. We did so on two strikes again which is becoming a huge part of our makeup, and that is what makes our lineup so hard to throw to. Kuzara led the way with two homeruns on the day and Sic was 4-4 in the box with 3 RBI's of her own. Miles, Newman and Jackson all had two hits and we had a couple big key hits from others. Ava Ryan started the biggest rally of the day hitting a triple to the right side to lead off the fourth. That wasa big inning for us and really allowed us to stretch the lead out. We keep talking about big wins. Every team in this league has potential to get ya- so every league win is huge. "

Rylie Greggo didn't allow a single run against Airport Varsity Jets, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Huron Varsity Chiefs to a 11-0 victory on Wednesday
Huron Varsity Chiefs fired up the offense in the first inning, when Emma Sic doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Huron Varsity Chiefs tallied five runs in the fourth inning.  Huron Varsity Chiefs's big inning was driven by singles by Sic, Erin Newman, and Madison Miles.
One bright spot for Airport Varsity Jets was a single by Danielle Dalpiaz in the second inning.
Greggo pitched Huron Varsity Chiefs to victory. Greggo lasted five innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out three and walking one.
Huron Varsity Chiefs hit two home run on the day. Jenna Kuzara had a four bagger in the second and fifth innings.
