"Discipline has been a topic of conversation the past week. Not because we are undisciplined but because we haven't been disciplined in key situations. Partly from coaching calls and partly to execution. I was very proud of our group and the discipline to the situation. These kids put a selfless mindset forward and really executed in key situations. They are playing for each other and when you have that mindset, you have the ability to make some noise."

Game Changer Recap:

Rylie Greggo didn't allow a single run against Airport Varsity Jets, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Huron Varsity Chiefs to a 9-0 victory on Wednesday
Huron Varsity Chiefs opened up scoring in the second inning.  Addison Ramsby singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.
A double by RaeAnn Drummond in the fourth inning was a positive for Airport Varsity Jets.
Greggo got the start for Huron Varsity Chiefs. The pitcher lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and zero runs while striking out six.
Zoe Peterson toed the rubber for Airport Varsity Jets. The pitcher surrendered four runs on three hits over one and one-third innings, walking zero.  Drummond threw four and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen. Huron Varsity Chiefs tallied 12 hits in the game.  Marissa Jackson, Jenna Kuzara, Emma Sic, and Ramsby each had multiple hits for Huron Varsity Chiefs.  Jackson went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Huron Varsity Chiefs in hits.
