Four hits from Emma Sic paved the way to victory for Huron Varsity Chiefs over St. Mary Catholic Central 8-4 on Wednesday.  Sic singled in the first, singled in the second, doubled in the fourth, and doubled in the sixth.

Huron Varsity Chiefs earned the victory despite allowing St. Mary Catholic Central to score three runs in the sixth inning.  The offensive firepower by St. Mary Catholic Central was led by Kapp and Tori Busen, all driving in runs in the inning.

Huron Varsity Chiefs opened up scoring in the first inning.  Huron Varsity Chiefs scored three runs when Sierra Diegel doubled.

Rylie Greggo was in the pitcher's circle for Huron Varsity Chiefs. The righthander surrendered three runs on eight hits over seven innings, striking out five and walking one.

Dean led things off in the pitcher's circle for St. Mary Catholic Central. The hurler surrendered six runs on ten hits over five innings, striking out one and walking one.  A Pinkelman threw one inning out of the bullpen.
