MILAN HIGH SCHOOL: 10
I love game two: as i said to the kids; this game was a developmental win. We let our kids who have not had as many opportunities take on Milan for a chance to sweep, and they could not have stepped up in a better way. They absolutely smashed the ball and put a ton of pressure on Milan all game long. We had a huge lead that we let dwindle away- but we came back and never once allowed it to break our focus. Multiple two strike hits, great base-running (despite the few forced coaching errors), it was a total team effort today and our young guns didn't just play, the SHINED. They proved they don't just belong but that they can hang and they will be ready when called upon, and that is what programs are built on. Top to Bottom this day was one to be remembered for a long time.
