When you talk about team wins, these kind of games are the ones you look back at. Although defensively I am still not thrilled with some of our errors; the girls did such an incredible job of picking each other up today. It was a 13 hit game, with 11 RBI's, multiple done on 2 outs or 2 strikes. We did a great job putting the ball in play when it counted. Brinkerhoff pitched another solid performance, going 5 innings and only allowing 3 hits, while striking out 3. Kids played great game 1. 

• Huron Chiefs Varsity asserted their will over Plymouth on their way to an easy 14-2 victory
• Huron Chiefs Varsity got things started in the first inning.  Lauren Dioszegi's sac fly scored one run for Huron Chiefs Varsity.
• Gracie Brinkerhoff pitched Huron Chiefs Varsity to victory. The pitcher went five innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out three.
• Canfield took the loss for Plymouth. The bulldog allowed 13 hits and 14 runs over five innings, striking out two.
• Huron Chiefs Varsity saw the ball well today, racking up 13 hits in the game.  Erin Newman, Autumn Setser, Caroline Polites, and Marissa Jackson each had multiple hits for Huron Chiefs Varsity.  Newman led Huron Chiefs Varsity with three hits in three at bats.
• Kuzara went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Plymouth in hits.
