We battled a little harder game 2, in regards to the offensive side of things. But still couldn't string anything consistent together. Scott came in and added some spark going 2-3 and Polites went 2-4, but we never had the big inning we needed. Thomas had a great second game going 2-2 with 2 stolen bases. Jackson pitched well for her first outing, facing off an extremely talented Trenton lineup. We played better this game than game one, but still a lot to work on and fix. Proud of the kids for battling though and finding some energy. 

• Huron Chiefs Varsity Defeated By Trenton
• Huron Chiefs Varsity got things started in the first inning when Lauren Dioszegi singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
• In the bottom of the first inning, Trenton tied things up at two.  L Williams drove in one when Williams doubled.
• Trenton pulled away for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Banas singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
• Trenton scored three runs in the sixth inning.  A Segedi, K Gerhans, and S Costello all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
• Williams earned the win for Trenton. The hurler went seven innings, allowing three runs on ten hits and striking out three.
• Marissa Jackson took the loss for Huron Chiefs Varsity. The lefty lasted six innings, allowing ten hits and eight runs while striking out one and walking one.
• Huron Chiefs Varsity totaled ten hits in the game.  Alexis Thomas, Brianna Scott, and Caroline Polites all had multiple hits for Huron Chiefs Varsity.  Polites, Scott, and Thomaseach collected two hits to lead Huron Chiefs Varsity.
• Trenton collected ten hits.  Williams, L Vallimont, and R Smith all collected multiple hits for Trenton.
