Renton Chiefs beat Wilson in Season Opener 26-7

The 7th grade Renton Football team opened up their season by traveling to Wyandotte to take on Wilson Middle School and came away with a victory by the score of 26-7. Micah Smith had a huge game for the Chiefs with a TD through the air as well as another TD on the ground. Smith also had a big day on defense by leading the team in tackles and also having 2 interceptions. Christian Copley ran for 2 TDs and Logan Robinson caught 4 passes with one of them going for a TD. The Chiefs played great defense the entire game and will be ready to take on Jefferson next Wednesday at home at 4pm.
