Boys 7th Basketball With a Roaring Win Over the Jefferson Bears

JEFFERSON MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL: 15
The Huron Boys 7th Grade Basketball team won their first game of the season at home against the Jefferson Bears 47-15. The Chiefs played a great defensive game; holding the Bears to just 4 points in the 1st quarter and only 2 points in the 3rd quarter. The Chiefs still need some work on free throws, making only 1 of 6 from the line. A great game offensively by Gavin O'Hara and Matthew Nutter with 12 points each. Ryan Anderson added 11 points. The Chiefs will travel to Grosse Ile on Thursday, 11/14 to take on the Red Devils at 4:00.
