WAGAR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 0
Huron 7th Grade Baseball improved to 12-0 on the season with a sweep of Airport Wagar 7th Grade on Thursday. Huron won the first game 15-0 and pulled ahead in the top of the 5th on the second game for a 5-3 victory.
As it has all season, Huron's pitching led the way. During the first game, Jason W. and Aidan S. toed the rubber, shutting out the Jets. During game two, Tyler L, Cameron K, and Noah B. took the mound, striking out 6 Jets through the five innings.
Offensively, the Chiefs were led by Nate M. who collected 4 hits on the day, including driving in the go ahead run late in Game 2. Noah and Josh H also collected multiple hits on the day.
This Chiefs wrap up their season on Thursday May 20th with another doubleheader against the Jets.
