WILSON MIDDLE SCHOOL-WYANDOTTE: 0
Huron's 7th grade boys started the season off with winning both games in the doubleheader against Wyandotte by the scores of 24-2 and 17-0.
Huron's bats were obviously on fire both games, with each Chief reaching base and scoring at least 1 run. The offense was led by Conner F who tallied 6 hits and scored 5 runs against the Warriors. Also touching the plate 5 times on the day were Aidan S, Tyler L, and Noah B.
In addition to their offense, the Chiefs defense was lights out! Led by the strong arms of Cameron K and Conner F Cameron K pitched the complete first game striking out 3 and walking 1. Conner F threw a no-hitter through the 3 innings played, striking out 6 and walking 2. The doubleheader ended on a high note by Noah B, Trent I, and Cameron K turning a 4-6-3 double play!
