The 7th grade Renton Chiefs traveled to Monroe Jefferson Middle School and came away with 2 wins in their doubleheader against the Bears.  

1st Game:  In the first game, Gavin Moczydlowsky pitched 4 and 1/3 innings giving up 2 earned runs while striking out 8 batters.  Gavin also went 2-for-3 from the plate with a triple and a double.  Rory Callahan also blasted a triple while throwing out three runners from his catcher's position.  Bradley Purcell made an amazing diving catch in the outfield and Marco Tyultki came in and gave up 0 runs in 2/3 of an inning of relief.  

2nd Game:  In the second game, the Chiefs were led by Wyatt Harris who pitched 3 and 2/3 innings giving up 1 earned run while striking out 9 batters.  Wyatt also went 3-for-3 from the plate with an RBI triple.  Josh Graybeal went 2-for-3 from the plate with 2 RBIs.  The Chiefs combined for 14 hits between the two games and played outstanding defense.  

The Chiefs have now moved to 4-0 on the season and travel to Riverview to take on Seitz Middle School on Tuesday, May 8th.
