DEFENSE LEADS THE WAY TO 40-0 WIN .....

The defense had 5 interceptions of the Wager QB and 2 were returned for touchdowns. The Chiefs took the opening kick off and marched down the field and scored when Trent Ison ran it in from 2 yards out. Ian Petrick drilled the extra point to give Renton a 8-0 lead. On Wagar 1st possession Zennon Grant intercepted the Wager pass and went 45 yards for a Renton TD , Petrick's extra point made it 16-0.  On Wagar's next possession Cameron Kalbfleisch intercepted the pass and took it down to the 25 yard line.  The Chiefs drove to the 5 yard line but on 4th down Ison scrambled out of a sack and threw a great pass to Petrick but he could not hall the pass in. On the ensuing possision  Petrick stepped in front of the intended receiver and grabbed the Chiefs 3 interception of the day and returned it for Renton's 2nd pick 6 of the game. Petrick's 3rd extra point of the day wade it 24 - 0 going into half time . Wager recovered a Rebton fumble on the kickoff and drove to Renton's 25 yard line where Landon Hall picked off the 4th interception of the game to stop the drive.  Behind some good blocking Caleb Hall , Ison and Kalbfleisch ran the ball to Wagar's 25 yard line where Ison hit Noah Banas with a great fade route in the corner of the end zone and with Petricks 4 extra point of the day the Chiefs led 32-0 . Renton stopped Wagar on downs on the next drive and Kalbfleisch took over at QB.  Kalbfleisch and Hall drove the ball down to the 3 yard line where Hall scored the final touchdown and with Petrick's 5th extra point the score was 40-0. On the final drive Wager drove to Renton's 45 yard line but in fitting manner Parker Wodarski made a circus catch for the Chief's 5th interception of the day to end the game as the clock ran out to preserve the shut out for the Chiefs.
