Renton kicked off the season with a 22-12 win at home over Lincoln Park. Brennen Caldwell scored the 1st TD of the season with a hard 5 yard TD run and Tony Trupiano drilled the extra point for the 8-0 lead. The Chiefs recived the 2nd half kick off leading 8-6 and Micah Smith to the kick 80 yards with some nice blocking to up their lead 14-6. Trupiano make his 2nd consecutive kick for the 16-6 lead. The score remained the same until the 4th quarter Smith hit Malachi Caver on a quick slant for a nice 25 yard completion to set up Smith' s QB sneak to make the score 22-6.. Great job on defense Dylan Blankinship recorded 2 sacks.
