Monroe - 3
Huron could not get the bats going against strong pitching by Monroe, with the Chiefs only managing two hits throughout the game. Defensively the Chiefs were very solid, led by Conner Forster and Cameron Kalbfleisch on the mound. The duo combined to strikeout nine Trojans over the 5 innings!

Huron's bats came alive immediately in the second game. The Chiefs scattered 12 hits throughout the game and tallying 7 runs in the first 2 innings. At the plate, the Chiefs were led by Aiden Sainato who went 3-3; Dayton Miller, Parker Haas, and Kalbfleisch also had multiple hits over the 5 innings. Kalfleisch started the game on the mound and Trent Ison pitched in relief; the duo strikeout 6.
